I don't have an IPL for that one. If it's any help the 923, 924, 925 use A-65990 for a rim sprocket. The 921 is manual oiler only and is different as it likely has an inboard clutch so I suspect the 922 is an A-65990.
I see a number of sprockets with the flat back on it listed for the 900 series but those ones are for the inboard clutch models. The outboard ones have a step in the back of the drum.
I don't see any numbers on the back of my 922 drum (rim) and may have a chance to take it off and have a good look tomorrow.

Yes, the 921 has an inboard clutch.

Hey guys,

Got the XL-103 apart.

Cylinder and piston are shot. Cylinder is 1.81 bore and 1.93 outside of sleeve diameter. PN A-64542A. Is this the "thin" sleeve version?

I know I had a leak around one of the screws on the 902 tank. It was tricky to remove. I just don't have much luck with Phillips, it seems. Peter Robertson must have been laughing at me from his grave.

qtla.

phillips sux. got 4 diff bits, impact and v little air works most of time. been dealin w/them on bikes since early 70s. ml12's way's been done more than once.

I doubt they'll be flying off the shelves..., especially at that price. If the Husky module retrofit gains a little more traction it's already widely available in both used, new OEM, and aftermarket versions, and proven to be dependable after years and years of use and abuse. Not sure there's a huge market for one of the most notorious ignition module failures ever.

Hard to say what the market would be. They seem to disappear of e-bay at high prices. There must be a ton of Pioneer / Homelite saws sitting dead out there.

The price to me is about $100 CDN delivered from those guys so not an option for me.

I can get one of the Husky Chinese coils for $20 delivered from Amazon.

I doubt the price would stop many of the collectors.

I have had two blue coil saws and both came to me with dead coils. Found a new coil for the first one for $40 and a used one for $35 for the other one. I've learned to check this right away for any other Homies that come through my door lol.

I would like to see vid of the Husky one being fitted.

I might buy one one of these days and fit it up. I'll ask Cory if he can snap a few pics of the one he put together.
I'm fortunate that only one of the four 76's I have has a blue coil and only one of the four Super XL's I have does.
