Hello there this is my first real post here but I have been reading for a while. I am a wood turner plus I cut about 4 cord of firewood a year.
I just got a new Echo cs-400 on the "bay" It comes with a 18" bar but I was thinking of putting on a 16" with the motor only being 40.2cc.
Over at baily's the have a (16" Carlton Forest-Champ) bar that is titanium for $16 or I can got an Arbor max bar and chain for the same price. Is the carlton worth the extra money?
And sorry one last question. How do the rip chains work? I was think on getting a 18" rip chain to help cut bowl blanks.
