Well since the saw was given to me with one use, I figured that motor sounded well stuffed up so I tried to mod the muffler, let me know what think and any other suggestions. The saw runs better, sounds better but has a rev limiter.

I did not increase the hole any larger just moved the internal pipe outside and welded it.

I actually have the spark arrester it's in pic 2, just need to mod it and fit it on. Pic 3 is a bit blurry but there nothing there, just the piston poking through.

Here is the goofy spark arrester they use, only flow is through those six small holes.

Is there any way to override the Rev limiter or is that not a good idea??? I'm really not used to the newer saws. This thing dosn't sound like a chainsaw, it sounds like a weedwacker.lol
