We have been running the 2258 for a few months as a demo and firewood cutters are liking it .....I set it up 20" 3/8ths and this saw sells it self....



Any other comments on this from people that really cut wood??

The Triple Nickel sporting a red suit. The most under-rated saw in both bloodlines. Should be the number one firewood slayer in both families.

I just got one in orange (Triple Nickel) about 2 weeks ago.. It's a damn good running saw! With a 16" bar, it's light and nimble for limbing, or slap a 20"-24" on it for some serious bucking duty!

Stock vs stock, I think it's a better saw than the 562 in the hands of anyone who doesn't use a saw all day every day.
Virtually as quick in the cut, and more forgiving of varying load.

Just my 2c. I think husky nailed the tune on those two saws for their intended roles. I assume the same of the red ones.
