Difference between MS260 and 026?

A question came up when chatting with a fellow forum member as to the difference(s) between the Stihl MS260 and the 026 Stihl. I suggested that someone here would know the answer! Thanks in advance!

At the moment it changed, I believe it was only the fuel caps - but several changes have happened both before and after that.

The later 260s have more cc and less power than the earlier ones (EPA-related).

Some early 260s doesn't have a fully adjustable carb, but they currently do.

I am considering buying one or the other of these used, I noticed on Ebay the 260 is bringing more $$ than the 026, is it just because the 260 is newer? Or are there other reasons the 260 is worth more?
