Does stihl make a saw that isn't bulky for it's size?

Like a Husky 576xp I suppose (which is a pretty bulky saw
- quite high, for example) - still one of my favorites (have
two of the very first model made) - the Stihl bar looks long-
er than maximal recommended by Stihl 32" I suppose????

Stihls are bulky cause they are made of awesome, tough, 'merican metal. Huskys are cheap, revvy, euro trash plastic crap
No man stihl and husqvarna both are made in europe , mama is from europe. and finally both are perfect saws .

Thanks - that's a lot of weight if it is just the motor head ... .

As for the power figures, I have seen those seriously critizied
somewhere and have also written about it at another forum
- but I have forgot the details - 13hp is about 50% more hp/
displacement unit than modern saws, after all ... . Clearly,
there are some old big two-cylinder two-man saws with 3/4
pitch chain etc with more power than is considered healthy
nowadays, but I do a little distrust Stihl 090 should be one
of those just from what I sort of found by "looking around"
a couple of years ago - not that I have never seen one, held
one or even less owned one :) ... .

I mean if your take your Kawa 750 cc 1970-ies two-stroke
70-75 hp (which is again most likely an exagreagated pap-
er figure) or so motorcycle to a modern engine tuner/build-
er he/she gives you like 125 hp with lowered emissions and
fuel consumptions as well as bettered driveability properties
together with a back-wheel test protocol to certify what you
have :) ... - see here

That's a 32" thats on it. With full skip, square chisel it cuts softwoods like Cedar, Hemlock and Doug fir like nobody's bisnatch!!! Lol.
I have a 32" ES Light on it now and it balances quite nice.

NO - unfortunately not - but there is a small company
in my nearest bigger city which specializes in "triples"

http://www.ebos.se/

- and I have planned to buy one for a long time (as a
lot of other stuff as well :) ) - but hopefully it will hap-
pen before I get too old - who knows :) ... .

They do these kind of tunings strangely affordable - as
well as two-stroke engine tunings in general - typically
they charge you per cylinder, so to speak - so the fewer
cylinders the cheaper :) - and with equipment that is
superior to most "garage tuners" i suppose ... .

maybe tomorow in china or somewhere else , what means this that the stihl is from china , not from germany , the same with husqvarna

Both Stihl and Husky Zama carbs proudly states "CHINA"
on them ... and have done so for several years ... .

Here is a little Cedar I cut up a couple weekends ago. Top blew out of it a few years ago so took it down since it was getting rot and bugs in it.[/QUOTE]

man the saws are not humans so dont have nationality, they buy chineesee parts bcause are cheaper , if this parts can do the job where or what is the problem
they make factories in china because are cheaper for them , Not for you , you again pay the same price, no mater if its produce in china, or in sweden,
again theirs pockets
