dual port muffler

Can someone enlighten me to where I can get a dual port muffler for a stihl 044 and 066. Not sure if I am going to go this route but in my research I have not been able to find where to buy them.

044/440 dp cover will run you about thirty dollars

Just so your dealer isn't confused.. there is NO DP cover for an 044 - it's from the 046 and just happens to fit...

Thanks guys. I am probably going to the stihl dealer tomorrow and ask about these. Also thinking of getting a 28" bar and chain.

I know this has been covered probably many times but I am assuming I will have to get the carb readjusted or is this something I can handle. I have never touched my saws except for filling with gas and oil, cleaning air filter/changing and changing the plug every few years.

Yes, if he has a tach(should) have him check the max rpms. Mine run great around 13,300-13,500, yours may be different but that will get you close.

I know I can find a small inner, it may be awhile before I get a small outer...
