Or, being an Agronomist, Glysophate instead of GLYPHOSATE (the active ingredient in Round Up herbicide).

That reminds me of another one.

Nuclear is pronounced "nuke-lee-er", not "nuke-ya-ler". Hate that. Makes me itch.

'Chainsaw' or 'Chain Saw'?

'Chain' or 'Blade'?

'Tooth' or 'Cutter'?

'Raker' or 'Depth Gauge'?

'Safety Chain' or 'Low Kickback Chain' (or some of the other things that some guys on this site call it)?

Pretty soon we won't be able to call a 'cylinder' a 'jug' on this site!

'Philbert' or 'Filburt'

Oh, you don't want to get me started ....

Drive SAFE! Really? What happened to "safely"?

And people don't "graduate high school" they "graduate FROM high school"

OK, my meds are starting to take effect (or is it affect?)

Keep 'em coming. I'm enjoying this!! I'd rather hear nails on a blackboard than hear, "have went"??!?

The pluperfect tense, formed in English with the past participle of a verb and the auxiliary had, as had learned in the sentence He had learned to port a chainsaw by the end of the semester. Also called past perfect. Now we constipate a verb....
