That's all thats on the tag.

From the serial number,

2 is the assembly line
G is the build year which is 1985
day 143 (Thursday May 23)
0034 is the 34th unit built that day

So, your saw was the 34th saw built on assembly line #2 on Thursday, May 23, 1985

That's cool Tim. Thanks. I know who to ask when I get the other 2 homies back from dad.

What's a Super VI?
XL-101 type or Super EZ?

Hi Carl,

If you were asking about the VI200 it's basically an XL-76 (100 series) saw. The islolators on the saw are in perfect shape and not the least bit hard but I don't perceive much difference in vibration compared to my XL-76's.
The 76's really don't have much vibration anyway.

Well, no VI Super 2 donor. Thought I had one, but only found some of the little XL variants in a quick look through the batch. So what exactly is/was broken about the carb box on the ebay saw? I can't visualize it.

Not sure if it's still up, but if it is, there's crack all across the back under the rear handle. If you scroll through the pics you can see it.
