My brother-in -law wants me to fix his saw, and I have been out of the game for a while, and my work was mainly on Stihl.

My question is: What is the easiest way to remove the carb?

I don't want to spend a lot of time on this little thing, and I am sure lots of you guys have worked on them....

Do I need to go out and dig out some little angled wrenches?

Pretty sure I lowered the tank on the first couple I did, but I don't recall doing it that way recently... through the choke rod hole to get to the one side and remove that plate for the other.

No sorry, I was thinking Stihl again, with the tank in the rear handle.

You are right, a serious pain in the ass!

Thanks for the help!!!
