Another example of corporate greed causing an American corporation to turn their backs on the very people that created their success.
The greed is 99% of the American consumers that place no added value on "made in USA" brand or quality.

Rubbermaid strikes again...they closed a plant in a small town in Ohio, Wooster, about 7 years ago. Really hurt that town for a while. So as others have said, fu^$ em. I am a big fan of channel locks and Mac. It keeps getting harder to buy US made stuff in small businesses like the local hardware. Big companies just keep taking over with their chinese garbage, like Walmart.
I believe those were made by the same Vice Grip plant in Dewitt, Nebraska in accordance with Sears' specifcations. That's all history now, but you have a fine set of locking pliers.Craftsman makes a good line of Vice-Grip like pliers. I assume they are still manufactured in the USA.
i wouldn't worry too much about it.
afterall....every politician running for any office in america has tv ads claiming they're going to keep jobs in america if elected.
yea...right.
Crescent MADE IN USA
Will not buy any more, Maybe craftsman or another brand. I hope they lose their backside. Guess they will be sold at harbour freight now in the china section of tools.
