Is The MS441 Being Discontinued?

Well since the 660 (bore x stroke 54/40) went to the 661 (bore x stroke 56/37), maybe the'll replace the 441 (bore x stroke 50/36) and 461 (bore x stroke 52/36) with a new saw all-together and go in that same direction, which could look like a spring AV M-tronic 381 (bore x stroke 52/34).

Unlikely but a thought.

The weight of the 441 compared to the 460/461 always kind of put me off, but if you consider the A/V, air filtration, fuel economy and M-Tune, they look a little better. If they really have discontinued them, oddly enough I now feel like I may need one.

Or just buy a 390xp... you will never look back if you do purchase one.

Ive owned a ms360 n a ms390 for yrs. Both modded by me. Picked up a 390xp couple yrs ago, so impressed with the balance and screaming power of it that I have purchased and gone thru bottom to topend a 262xp,266se which is now a 272xp that is ported. Also a 288xp which is ported too, that saw is scary.
Have run a 660, power to wt and balance aint there, different strokes I guess as the saying goes.
Stihl has priced me out of the equation.
