Canopy's are kinda nice for setting up a "central location". It's a spot for putting a table, coolers, ect.....

What's gonna be on the menu for food...?? Are we meeting up early enough to do any kind of breakfast....??

Just wondering what I should bring for cooking gear. A few of us in the NYCSM are a little crazy with cooking gear at GTGs and I'm one of them.

I think we oughta tally up how many people we're gonna have again. And everyone should speak up on what they want or what they plan on bringing for food. It'd suck to have 4,000 bratwursts, no buns, and a 2 liter bottle of diet Pepsi, lol......

Good thinking. I'm coming with one other person. Probably my wife, but my brother might get talked into coming. There's only room for two in the truck.

We're planning on bringing a pasta salad. I believe Moss Man volunteered a grill, if people wanted to bring stuff to cook. I'll probably bring up some hamburg to grill for myself. I may bring up some of Maine's famous Red Hot Dogs to share, and some Moxie. We haven't been shopping this week, so it's probably a good thing to think about.

I have a turkey fryer burner if one is needed for Lobstah. I believe someone was bringing some to share. I don't have a large Pot to cook them in though.

Stuff to share:
Pasta Salad
Red Hot dogs
Moxie

Ok, here's the latest.

Some people didn't see the address earlier;

207 Leeds Road
Livermore Falls, Maine

I have a porta pooper here for the weekend. Water and electricity will be on site. There will be a ton of parking in the field, drive between the orange ribbons and park. My hope is to line up pickups with the tailgates facing the area where the events will be, that way everyone can work off the back of their vehicles.

The food deal is; some people can bring side dishes if they like. I will not be providing any meat for the grill, you need to bring your own. Gear up a cooler with ice and toss your raw flesh in there with the beer.

I had said ealier that I would be having 2 gas grills on hand to cook on.........I asked a ton of people locally and came up with none, that's right, none. If just 2 people could be kind enough to bring a gas grill, I would be grateful. Having 2 decent sized propane grills should be plenty.

I have a 20'x30' canopy going up friday and will have 2-3 tables to go under it, I would think that would be adequate.

I do not have any softwood cants for sawing, I only have hardwood logs in the 8"-14" variety in case you need to know what bar size to attach to your womper jomper modified saw.

As some have mentioned, the weather looks real positive right now, hope it sticks.

If any of you have logging, firewood related items to display by all means bring them along.

I have a Weber Q 220 that I'd be more than willing to throw in the truck, it's nice and portable, but still a good size. Not as big as a normal grill, but almost.

I shall bring myself and a buddy. A cooler full of beer, probably Bud Light, and am willing to share to a point (after da sawzin is dunn). Something to put on the grill. A grill if needed. Unfortunately I am not going to have time to prep the onion burgers I had previously mentioned :( A 365sp. A 570. A 562xp that you all can put your mitts on and make a couple of cuts with. Probably a couple of snacks. And if I have time I'll prep something to eat, other than chips or cookies.

If you have the room and don't mind, that'd be great! Thanx man.

It will be there! And I'm not sure on the timing for everyone, but I was kinda planning on maybe 10 or 11 to 2 or 3 for being there myself. Can't really come earlier than that but I saw an earlier time at some point was ok, and I'm not sure of the kick-out time, but you had mentioned camping so I don't think 3 would be too late either :msp_biggrin:

Yeah what time is the earliest you'd want people there Moss Man??

Thought about camping but the Focus is gonna be stuffed full - not much room for a tent and sleeping bags and what not. I just said fark it and got a hotel in Freeport. Can't wait to check out that LL Bean flagship store!

The flagship store is more like a campus :msp_thumbup:

I will be kicking around at 7am, so anything beyond that is good. As far as how late it will go? As long as anyone wants to stay it's fine with me. Tossing back some colds ones and eating some leftovers sounds good for late afternoon, just don't want anyone hitting the streets over the .08 limit here.

Gonna head up around 5:00a on Friday. Gonna go see a family friend in Ogunquit. From there we'll head to Freeport in the evening. That way we'll only be an hour from Livermore Falls.

We really wanna head up to Millinocket to see Mount Katahdin. That may or may not happen. If not though, at least we'll get to see that store.

10-4 on that.

You won't have to worry about me drinking too much. I'll prolly have 1 beer at most. Not much of a drinker at all.

I'm this retarded sober. :)

Ogunquit is let's say.... right about here. Then a little ways up the road is my shop. And then a little further up the road is Freeport.

Well, at this point, I'm working Saturday so it looks like I won't make it. There is a slim possibility I'll have it off...... so I'm still trying.

In case i DO make...... will anyone be bringing any basic tools for tuning? I'm hoping someone better with carbs than I may be willing to play with my 346 a little ??

If I don't make it, I'm looking forward to plenty of pictures ! :)
