My little unit gets a lot more action then a big one

I like my stock 261, but not at the full 16" bar since it is 3/8 pitch. It's fine in soft wood, but hard wood slows it down if I'm cutting at 16". I like the 046 for anything else. I switch between the two regularly, but if I'm trying to keep two or three splitters busy, I buck all of it with the 046.

I think it is a tool used to push or pull small trespass and limbs when taking them down. But I could be wrong.
