I would like to see that Toyota with a 3/4 of a cord on it.He must have a different cord size than what I go by.

Here is some shots of 1 of 4 loads of green burr oak from one tree. 3 were like this and the last was the rounds from the bottom.
I run 12000 gvw farm plates. Few times I have been over hauling scrap in this rig. Empty its about 6300 with me in it. As you can see by the pics the springs would handle alot more. It runs a 7.3 diesel with a auto tranny. I am planning on swapping out the E4OD for a 4 spd manual. It will hurt the mileage but then again I just need it for the power.
The saws that day were a Dolmar 5100s and a Husqvarna 385xp. I ran a 20 and a 32 on the 385.

3/4 cord on a yota? Here's my flatbed with a couple of different 5x6x3 loads equaling 90 cubic feet, and since a cord is 128 cubic feet, 3/4 of that would be 96 cubic feet. Not too far off. But, I have aftermarket suspension. I don't put nearly that much on my Tacoma. It's funny seeing guys with full size trucks stop loading when the suspension just starts to sag. Gotta get that sucker close to the snubbers, shoot. What's the point of having a big pickup that gets crappy mileage if you aren't gonna load it?

Snubbers, you mean something like when the frame rides on the axle Right?
I had a F150 I rolled across the scale one day at 13000. The truck weighted about 5200 empty. The rest was cast iron. The wife took a load in once on the blue truck that hit 6500 lbs of cast. Mostly wheel centers of tractors. So the most of that load was below the sides of the box.

I pulled a 4,900 lb. trailer behind my Toyota once, with about 300 pounds in the bed (I was delivering steel awnings I fab'd). The old girl did it, though she was light in the front end. ;)

I pulled a 3/4 ton Chevy out'a the ditch with her too, a couple winters back. . . . I was on the Fire Dept. with the guy, and he got a bunch of s**t about it for a week.

Don't underestimate the power of the Yoder. :)

Here is a LOAD of PINE TIMBERS AND PLANKS not a yota wheelbarrow load of fir LOL

I need to fix the patch cord to my camera:censored:

I came back on saturday with a load of wood in my 85 ford f-250 pulling a 16x7 trailer loaded with wood. What a ride, wiring for trailer brake burned up:censored: Blew one trailer tire (so much for radial tires being better:censored: ) Cops showed up an asked if I needed help, asked me where my trailer plate was:jawdrop: Told him blow out must have ripped it off and I freaked out ( it was there!!) He noticed I was over loaded big time!! He just told me to take it easy getting home:dizzy:

Everthing passed me on the way home except a bicycle:rolleyes: Will I do it again...Hhhmm....YEP, after I get this all cut and split:greenchainsaw:

I'm not really trying to stir anything up here, but I suppose it will. Why is it everyone here insists on bigger/faster/sharper "right tool for the job" thinking on chainsaws yet think nothing of using trucks/trailers WAY beyond safe or intended duty? No I'm not preaching, I grew up a farm kid, do it myself. Just seems to be a big disconnect in reasoning.

Good load of Doug Fir...wife waited till after the first rick & 1/2 were off before snapping the shot.

Might have something to do with the cost of a new saw versus the cost of a new truck?
