Nice videos, guys. Thanks.
I wish someone would run a ported 262xp and a ported STIHL 036, comparison. It would be interesting to see them all ported. I have a ported 262 and a ported 362 ill round up some chain and run both
I have a buddy(Ron660) ,that I ported a very strong 036 for that I could borrow for the mixI wish someone would run a ported 262xp and a ported STIHL 036, comparison.

I agree it would. But folks would just say everyone ports different or the chains aren't the same.
Funny how all the Stihl boys are fairly quiet in this thread...
Id say the 036 that I ported for Ron660 has the most torque of the 262, 362c, and the 036PLEASE do it!
Oh no - not Piltz! The calvary is mounting..trust me.
Id still say a 562 and the 2260 would come out on top.

I've been working on the 036 saws for quite some time and my latest one is the bestest! With a 28" bar full skip it cuts nearly the same as a stock 044, in Fir. I just wish that I could get my hands on a 262Id say the 036 that I ported for Ron660 has the most torque of the 262, 362c, and the 036
It will be okay either way!! Lol! Im a Stihlhead but have came to realization not to dispute that Huskies and Jonesreds r no doubt faster!!! Lol!!The calvary is mounting..trust me.
I thought I read spike60 and Cantdog commenting about the 262/630 being more or less the same saw - this was in a 262xp thread somewhere.
Surprised by the difference in cut times. Like whoa.
Wow!! Nice!! The 036 I ported started out at 220psi but I dropped her back into 190psi and it cut with alota torque and holds rpm wellI've been working on the 036 saws for quite some time and my latest one is the bestest!
