The guy I work for and I cut firewood. We are on our 9th triaxale load this year. Ive been using my Husky254 and Jonnyred 2159. Most wood is under 18 inches, Im thinking about getting a Husky 555 MK ii. Im wondering how the old 555 does.

I just ordered a 562xpg from HL supply. $630 shipped, no bar and chain.

From what I've seen, people like the 555. If I wanted a 60cc saw at a bargain price, I'd consider one, except that the 562 is pretty close in price and can be had with heated handlebars. I cut mostly in the winter, and I love warm fingers.

I own a Jonsered 2260 that's similar in size and weight to the 555. I love it. It's not just the power it's the handling. It balances with a 20" solid bar like your 2159. I only have 17 tanks on it, none in weather above 70 deg.
