where to get weighted oil and fuel pickups for old saws

Where do you guys get weighted oil and fuel pickups for the older saws? From what I understand, modern saws did away with the tubing in the oil tank and they have direct plumbing...although is this really true? Should be easy to adapt a modern oil strainer to an old saw I would think.

Modern saws still have tubing in the tanks. Stilhl still sells weighted pickups.. but...

You don't need the weighted in almost any saws now (if you use modern filter). The newer filters are much better at collecting foaming gas than the old.
