Still burning, haven't bothered to take the time to check into the electric water heater yet. Nice to get rid of cardboard and paper that seems to pile up quickly.

Wow, hard to believe ya'll still need fires, it's about 94 here. The Air conditioner is going.

I'd rather have the fire than temp readings like yours

92 here for the high the past week the a/c runs non stop to keep my house at 73. come winter though it will be hard to get my house to 75 on certain days in january.
glad im not burning right now.

i don't have a gas water heater i have a electric and my bill only runs about 63$ per month.

Didn't stop. Down to two fires a week for DHW only though. If the heat ever gets here I'll likely stop for a couple months & throw the electric WH breaker - that only runs about $20-30/mo.

Started the woodstove in the basement last night , was in the 60's and clammy. Not a bad way to warm it up and dry it out while watching UFC

No I think camp fires are excluded, camp fires are classified as fun
