yeah on chainsaw collector conner it says it a 99cc with ported piston.and it looks just like a 2100cd but i'll see what i can get it for. but on the parts are they pretty easy to get or are they hard to find? i'll check e-bay and on here when i get it on my bench and see what all it needs.

i know i search the whole husky section on the chain saw collectors cornor site. untill i found one that look like it. so homelite jim how hard is it on finding parts for one of these saws?

I have found all the hoses at small engine shops. Husky dealer should also have them. AV mounts are standard screw in round type, easy to find. There are a few models that all use the basic same parts so there should be plastic out there. Check with your small engine shops first for their NOS parts as this series of saw was built from the 70's 1100 into the 90's with the 2101xp, then ask if they have a used parts box or even a retired saw.

Might ask around here, thought I remember someone wanting to sell a project 2100.

Here is a video of my 2100 taking it to my 066.

dang i'll find out what he wants for it and if it's under 250 i'll get it just to restore it back to running condition again.

i got one more question it might be a little hard to anser it but here it goes. what kind of parts can i get to make it gain more power to pull a big bar and chain that over 60 inches? and a other thing can it be ported to gain more power ?

I would get it going first, and see what you think. They dont lack any power, and were built to pull long bar's they claim up to 60 actually. I have been told you can do modification's, and porting, never done it myself been happy with mine stock. They were built to the hilt. What are you cutting that you need a 60 in Bar?

just a few tree's with the tree service i opened. i got one right now that 4 people can't reach around.but i think i got that covered i borrowed a 066 for my brother. and he said it should take it out with a few cuts.but when i seen this saw i know i have it just to restore to running condition again.
