Hello,
I am hoping someone on here may be able to help me. I recently bought an old Stihl 066 red light that is missing a few parts. I have looked everywhere on the internet for parts for it and can't seem to find anything. Went to the local Stihl dealer and received the wrong parts diagram for my model and they seemed rather doubtful in finding parts for it. Is there anyone on here that might know of a place to get new/used parts for such an older model 066?
The saw has great compression, the case is tight and doesn't leak but it is missing the carburetor along with the filter base, filter, cover, etc. If pictures will help I can post those as well.
I have heard of the flywheel needing to be changed if the coil has been changed but not sure about the exact workings of that or how to tell if the flywheel that is currently on there, is correct.
If anyone can give me any kind of information on this saw or someplace to look that will help me get it running again I would be very appreciative. Thank you in advance!
