Mike Acres site shows the Homelite Super EZ Automatic as requiring a fuel ratio of 1/2 pint oil to 1 gallon of gas. (16:1 fuel ratio). This is different from all other Homelite EZ's.

I'd just run 40:1.
I always ran 1/2 pint to a gallon on mine. After 25 years it was pretty carboned up. I run 50:1 synthetic and non-ethanol in all my saws now - from the 1950's to present. 16:1 sure won't hurt it but it will smoke a lot - helps keep the bugs away but not good for the lungs.

I had a recent thread on this one. It is a super EZ I picked up that looked fantastic on the outside. Its in a million pieces right now waiting on a cylinder and piston. I actually had to hammer the piston out through the spark plug hole. I think 32:1 is as heavy as I would go but 40:1 is what I run in everything.

32/40/1 is fine Ive'run one for the last 20 years at approx 35/1 & it's fine
