I recently acquired a Husqvarna 50 Rancher white top. She seems to be in really good shape for its age. My question is what year would this have been manufactured? I'm adding a few pics like a proud new papa lol. Thanks for answering in advance.

I think I figured it out. This whole time I have tried it without the orange top cover. I put the top on and she fired up! Is this common to these saws?

I get the same result no matter what I do unless I completely remove the box and bolt the carb up without it. She runs like a champ then. I'm at a loss here.

It's not the air filter. I have removed it and I get the same results. I'm really stumped on this one.

It could be the pickup coil in the distributor also. I believe that involves yanking the distributor out tho and disassembly of the distributor if memory serves me right.
