    Husqvarna 338XPT's big brother

So... given the choice would you buy the 338XPT or the 338XPC? Maybe even mod the 338XPC muffler like I've seen on this forum? :D Thanks, Dave

    Husqvarna 338XPT's big brother

That's it! That's it! So why the extra displacement? Is it to make up for the extra spark arrest and detuning to meet the california codes? Thanks, Dave

    Husqvarna 338XPT's big brother

I saw a climbers saw like the Husqvarna 338XPT that was larger than 39.0 cm³ on the net and now I can't find it. It was just over 40.0 cm³, like 42 or 43. Something about being from california.? Anyone know what it was? Thanks for the help, Dave

Tim, How far away from the Port-a-wrap was the groundie standing? Was the Port-a-wrap attached to the base of the spar you were working in? Thanks for the math work Daniel. Dave

Wow TreeSpyder, I can't belive I read the WHOLE thing! :D My previous questions were directed towards Tim Trentadue not mikecross23. It appears that the piece that he dropped in the pics could have weighed as much as 1200# and fell as much as 4' cob to cob. That's if you measure from the...

Tim Trentadue, Great pics! I would love to see the mpeg. What is the rateing of the bull rope that you were using? What piece of the rigging was the weak link in the chain? Considering the rateing of all your rigging and it's age, what is the safe limit for your chunks. Who can do the...

    Trees with things in them

Ceramic insulators I found a set of ceramic insulators in a huge pecan tree during a removal. You know the type, the ones they used to use to lead wires to the house. I was buckin' away when I found them. My husky was all the way through the ceramic part and workin' on the steel screw before...

    Feeding Chippers

If you want to see a hard workin' groundie, get the homeowner out there trying to save a buck after you tell him you are working by the hour and watch him drag stuff to the chipper! Man! Those drum chippers slap you good with the little stuff and chunk the ends of the big stuff back...
