    Want to Buy MS361 Tank/Handle

Need a tank/handle for my MS361. I checked Bailey's, Chainsawr.com and a couple others, plus googled around for other options. No one seems to have any OEM - new or used. Ebay only lists Chinese imports at the moment. Anyone know of one for sale or any other good parts dealers? Not opposed...

    identifying Stihl 070 and 090

It's the "bumped out" portion of the cylinder that can be seen between the fins to the right of the numbers in the pics. It sticks out past the "barrel" of the casting that has the piston bore. Look at the pics again and you will see what I am talking about. You can see where it ends at fin 5...

He's referring to the 2 1/2 lb pro, as opposed to the 4 1/4 lb super.

    Wright Buzz Saw

There are a couple more Wrights for sale here: http://springfield.craigslist.org/grd/1053048380.html They have been for sale for a couple of months. I could have sworn that one of the ads that I saw in the past was for $75.

    How small do you split?

I split down to 4-5" stuff. My firebox is "short" top to bottom, but wide. It is a pain trying to wedge bigger stuff into it when the fire is burning down unless it is thinner. Even big rounds I tend to split as "planks" about 3-4" thick instead of the typical "pie shaped" wedges.

    Do you need a logsplitter?

Very clean and well thought out splitter. Lots of nice little touches.

    Echo CS-900EVL

There is an Echo CS-900EVL for sale locally. We don't see many big chainsaws in these parts. All that I know about it is what is on the acresinternet site. 91.6cc, introduced in 1981. It has a 20" bar and they are asking $250. Anyone have any info about these saws? Price seems high to me...

Found a pile of old saws.

I'd stay after him. Once a guy makes up his mind to clean up, oftentimes they just go out the door to whomever is standing there at the time. Not just with saws, but anything. If you don't call and someone else happens by two weeks from now and the seller has a minute to spare, off he goes...
