If you look close I have a piece of waffer board jamed under the brace to hold the toolbox firmly in place. Seconds to take it on and off.

Echo CS590, a heck of a saw for$400. It has a magnesium crankcase just like a professional saw.

If it kicks back when starting and becomes hard to start the valves need adjustment

Stihl is the worst. It's a nickel plated sissy saw. Cost 1/3 more than the competition and you get a lesser saw. Real working men use Huskies.

I always use 93 ethanol free with Husqvarna oil. Just bought 41 gallons in Dothan Al for 2.89 a gallon. I have not put many hours on it since new. I just checked and I have 10 days warranty left. Will be taking it in tomorrow. I have a 181se I bought new in 87 and never a minutes trouble...

Thanks Jim, that does not sound good. It has done it ever since it was new. It's about a year and a half old.

Quaker state 30 weight--one small coke bottle oil to 1 gallon of gas.

After doing some hard cutting the saw will surge when idling(rpm going up and down). It still cuts and runs fine at speed. It only does it when the saw gets good and hot. Idles fine when doing light cutting. Should I enrich the high side or low?

That hurts. I guess I will order another spur gear in case the sloppy fit buggers it up. It oils fine with it now. Just can't go back to a spur once you've used a rim.
