Cloudcroft New Mexico Lumberjack Day is Sept. 20th this year.
I know there are some folks on this site in New Mexico, you aught to get out and make this show, even if you just want to watch. Admission is free, where else can you get this kind of entertainment for that kind of money?

Kenny,
We haven't got the wood yet, we'll have to see what the Forest Service let's us have. Me and Joel decided that if we couldn't find logs that are pretty even that we'd mill them into cants. But I hope we can find some good logs, I like sawing round wood, but we're trying to keep things as level as we can.

See ya there,

Andy

Well, you guy's from the area that didn't come missed a good show.
We had 42 competitors sign up, and close to a thousand spectators.
I didn't do worth a flip, but I had a lot of fun, and that's what counts (I keep telling myself ).

Its alright Andy, after the "lucky" last five years you have had at every last stinken show you have been to, maybe you needed to be humbled. I'm sure your slump won't last.

Got any vid of this???
