If they ask you to mail a check/money order or pay with PayPal using the Friends and Family option, that is a RED FLAG. Your purchase will not be protected. Only pay with credit card or PayPal using the goods and services options. Do not fall for the excuse that they don't want to pay the PayPal fees. They need to account for that in their sales price.
  2. To all USERS that think they need to police the site. New users that come to sell items are not always selling stolen merchandise. No vigilante or lynch mob mentality is permitted. You will be given infraction points if you accuse someone of selling stolen merchandise without hard evidence. You must have the stolen item report with a serial number and/or pictures that match the for sale item to make such accusations. Alert the moderators with your evidence and they will take care of any transgressions. If you do not you will be given enough points for a 3 day time out.

For sale. $400. The saw was running a couple of months ago and the pull start mechanism broke. Selling power head only. Bar not included. Selling as is . I believe it to be the only rotary powered chainsaw ever made .

Yanmar made a rotary saw as well. They seem to me much more rare than the Sachs saws.

I dunno a out two models, I remember seeing a picture from an AS member in Japan. I've never heard of one making it's way into the states.

They have about the same power as a Echo twin and/or a Poulan 3700. Old school 60cc power, but sound much more wicked than they run. About as heavy as an Echo twin too.

Yes of course. My postcode is PO376PU which is Shanklin, Isle of Wight, UK. I suspect that to get a price for postage you will need to box it up, get the weight and dimension and using the destination address ask your courier how much.
The saw looks in good condition from the pictures; aside from the bar and chain it is all there and complete?

I’m out I think fella. Without that little spring I’m assuming that you can’t start it and get a video of it running? The thought of buying an ‘unknown’ from such a distance, with rebuilding of said unknown being so difficult/impossible (I’ve looked for spares for the saw and found precisely none) worries me. Or will the saw run so that you can get a video?
It’s a great price for a great saw so I’m sure you will have no problem selling it to someone more local. If it hangs about though...
Sorry if I’ve inconvenienced you

I cant imagine how this is still not sold. I have one. At your price its a steal. Long as the ducati coil works and it has compression. If you were closer i would run over there with my pullstart.
