I've been using a Silky Zubat 270mm for the last few years. It still cuts pretty well but is showing its age. Plus, the scabbard is about to fall apart! Can the group here let me know if another Silky is the way to go or is another brand worth a look?

Silky Sugoi of Tsurugi are my 2 go to saws depending on whether I am cutting larger branches (Sugoi) or need it to fit into tight spots (Tsurugi). If I had to pick just one, I'd probably pick the Tsurugi because of its size...but I use the Sugoi more often.

I like the Sugoi too. The scabbard is pretty durable and if you get the proper file it can be sharpened. The extra length is a bonus as well.
