Just picked up a few cords from a cleared feild.Mostly maple and alder,with a pinch of MADRONA.Is Madrona a good fuel,and what is the BTU rating?

Madrone is great once dry.

Madrone 29.1 - 30.9 3180 - 4086 5070 - 6520

(BTU - Dry weight - Wet weight / Cord)

burns like a rock when wet. Split it when wet.

Here's some I got recently...Beware when the tree service calls. A cord and a half he said.
