since I have two husky 2100’s, two husky 285’s, I been thinking about a twin powerhead 48”/56” saw mill? If brackets were made to operate both saws at the same time using excentric cams on the triggers so both saws are in there high rpms from one lever that locks both throttles. I have big ash, maple trees to take down soon. I’m thinking new kitchen sets for the family. How hard is it to run two powerheads?

Not hard if you have two people. Mine is set up for two powerheads currently. I still need two people. I saved this picture as motivation to set up a remote throttle when things slow down in the winter... Mill2dolkita.jpg

I saw a rig on YouTube using 2 880s with 42" bars cutting slabs over 6' wide. The bars over lapped a couple inches. Had a winch system and throttle cable for one man operation. It wasn't 2 powerheads with one bar, but it was very cool.

I can't remember. There is a link to that video on one of these milling forums.
