I guess I be simple, though my old (not running) o8s was my favorite, now its the two I have that run and do work, the ms270 & the 266xp, all I really need (but I want MORE of course). :D

So I would've joined the 7900/7901 bandwagon, and I still might; but without a doubt so far, my 10 year old 036Pro is still my favorite saw. I love the 7901 ,I only have 1 of them (so far), but that 036 cannot be beat for its' "nimbleness" (new word).

I have also loved my 288 for being a large saw, really can't beat the fact that it always starts, and cuts like a champ. BUT, man does my hand get HOT!

Still sad that I traded my 266 away (still see it for sale on Ebay) I agree with Sprig, that is an awesome saw.

I am fortunate that I own my favorite saws though, but it has taken this site to confirm that it is okay to own so many...

My favourite saw is the one in the goldilocks zone thats running well. I dont like using a saw to big or to small for a job, its either a waste of my time or my effort.

in order of preferance

372xp, 346xp, 395xp, 3120xp.

I also like the 2100, just because it was the champ in its day. Some of the older pioneers i like too, just because...

...have more than one of your favorite saws?

What model?

How many do you own in running condition?

Duplicates????????

You mean like;

026/260
044/044
046/460

I sold the mate to my 036 a while back it was an036 pro but I probably have enough parts to build another one if I really wanted to.

Man this CAD crap is addictive. :dizzy:

I like all of the saws in my line-up, got rid of the ones I didn't like, which included a BIG pile of Stihl saws and parts.

Nothing at all wrong with the Stihl's that I had, but they were old models, heavy, slow and drank more fuel than anything else in my line-up per cord of wood cut.

The older I get, the more I'm really liking the smaller/lighter saws. My Husky 55 gets used a lot, along with the Echo 510's. For anything SERIOUS, the 268XPS goes in the truck.

I just finished porting my new project Husky 61 saw, waiting on some parts so we can see how bad I messed up the jug!......Cliff

Favorite saw is my 262XP. Eventually I will be like Ultra and his 25 660's, only mine will be 262's.

While I really like the 920 and 670, they both have minor issues that keep them from being favorites. 5100 is a blast, too. I guess my least favorite is my Homelite EZ auto (not a Super) which is my stick-in-the-dirt-to-cut-roots saw.

I don't have many, But my 036 pro is probably the favorite. It's light and got plenty of power for it's size. The worst saw i ever owned is the crapsman i currently have.

Do you wannanother one? LOL:cry: :hmm3grin2orange:

Actually I was impressed with the way mine cut and sounded, it just requires a bit of major attention. It's encouraging to hear you say it's your favorite.

I only have four-see signature line, and the Makita is sort of the stepchild when it comes to picking favorites. The other three are tied for first.

Kind of have duplicates.

My favorite saw that I like to use is my JRed 2054. I have 2, but different versions of the model. One is 49cc and the other is 53cc. They both have different characteristics and perform differently. The 49cc revs higher and cuts like a banshee while the 53cc has a lot more torque and would be able to pull 3/8 chain easier. I love the way they handle and are great all purpose saws.

Oh, and they are the last of the JRed only saws.

028 WoodBoss, first saw I ever owned, gave me my first chainsaw "thrill".
038 FarmBoss, first saw I ever changed a piston and cylinder on, 4 tanks of mix through it since then, mostly used in the last 2 years as a door stop in the garage.
MS200t, first Top Handle saw and favorite for intricate work.
MS440, first saw I modded the ports and base gasket on, plenty of "go" in her.
070, first 100+cc saw I owned, looking for a cheap OEM 090 P&C Set. (May take a while!)

338XPT, first Husky I ever bought (And it will be the last), when you've ran a good MS200T wou will never be happy with one of these.

Favorites, MS440 & MS200T.

All six running, I used to have a Sachs-Dolmar 133 but I let her go, for an absolute song as it happens! C'est la vie!

I love the Jonsered 670. I have 4 runners and 3 parts saws. I also have 4-5 of the 630. I also have 2 2071/2171 and 3 2065/2165. They are fast becoming my new favorites, mainly for parts availability.

Of the saws I won right now my favorite and the one that gets the most use is my 026. It starts flawlessly, every time.
