What is your favorite chainsaw of all time?

I hope that never happens, but I would have to go with my ported husky 359 cyl. on a 357 bottem end, it is a horse and not heavy.

My favorite saws have changed over the years and I have grown older and less fit. Right now the saw I grab the most is my Echo 330T. If I get much older I guess I'll buy one of those one hand battery powered 4 inch saws. I still keep my 359 Husky however..

Thoroughly enjoying my 500i at the moment. If it had to be one saw for the rest of my life, I'd probably go with something smaller and lighter for when I get older. No clue what that would be. Ported 346 maybe, or whatever the Stihl equivalent is, if there is one.

Either my 261 c-m or an 044. Hopefully, it never comes to what though.

One saw only? Probably my 036 which, with rebuilding, became an 036 PRO. Now that it has a decompression valve, I might be able to start it even when my bad shoulder gets worse!

Second from the front with the "Farm Boss" bar. Not pictured are two 009s, an MS 250C, an MS290, an MS391, and a couple of pole saws. I really would miss the rest if I had to own just one! O

I liked my 346 but sold it and kept the 353 because it had a de-comp valve; easier for an old guy to start.

I would hate to have to pick a favorite, but if I must choose it would be my little Husqvarna 51. I love that saw. It just chugs along and always runs.

I thought I was pushing it, choosing my 500i for my only saw for the rest of my life. Some of you guys only cut really big wood, and are planning on still running enormous saws even when you're 80 years old. I admire your optimism.

I guess you can limb with an 880 if you have to, but can't cut down a 7ft diameter tree with a 261.
