I have a 365 Special with a limited coil in it. (light blue in color) Baileys has a unlimited coil that fits multiple saws, including the 350 and 365. Well I have a 350 parts saw with a black coil in it. Can I just use the coil out of the 350 and put it in the 365?

I checked the 350 ign part# and it is not the same as a 365, so therefore I would conclude that it will not work on a 365. I do know the flywheels are different diameters.

Bailey's lists a single replacement, non-limited coil that includes both the 350 and 372. Actually, they list it for many saws from the 335-390.

Thanks, I going to up grade to the 372 P & C some time soon I hope, and the max rpm on the 365 is only 12500. I don't know if the coil is limited to 12500 or 13500 max rpm of the 372.

The cut-off point on the blue limited ignition modules is stamped in rather large numbers on the top of the module. Just remove the recoil housing (4 screws) and you should be able to read them.
