I'm not sure how long your list is going to remain true.

It wasn't even true when he wrote it...

What could be more reliable than a 660? Seriously.
The 390 is a better saw in regards to less vibration. I feel that they are a more reliable product as well. Also....they are way better balanced than a Stihl.
Ya cant go wrong with either of them but i gotta vote for the 660. You just cant make a saw thats any more perfect.
No offense but I own a 660 and it starts and cuts alot better than yours. It looked almost new. Is it?I agree. I've run both saws side by side cut'n huge rounds in Oak. The 660 powerhead is a bit wider(fatter) feeling in the hands. The 390 just felt more balanced overall. If vibes are an issue; 390 doesn't "buzz" your hands like the 660. I'm just calling it out like I felt it. I'm sure there's just as many folks who feel the 660 is a better balanced saw to them. Just preferance I'd bet....but to me....smoothness by a far margin goes to the 390.
Here's a few videos I posted on here recently...thanks for the excuse to let me post them again LOL.

The 660 is my best friends. Yes, it had about 15 tanks of fuel through it before that video. The 390 probably had probably twice that....everytime I post those videos folks get all fired up.....
Friends don't let friends run out of tune carbs.
Whatever you have to tell yourself to make ya happy. The 660 is max taching at 13,400 rpm's. It has dual port muff-mod. Husky is the same except the exhaust mod is has a slightly less opening. When they are both sitting at the jobsite, I always grab the 390 when the big sticks need to be put on the ground. I'm just saying LOL.....It really is a bummer for you that the Stihl is tuned perfectly ain't it
lemme make sure I undastand
a 460 will outcut a 390 in that magic world, and a 372 will outcut a 460 any day, a 359 will outcut a 372 (apparently I've read) , so that means that a 359 Husky will still run all over a 660 Stihl on the internet. U fellas sur r smaht.
