I haven't bought a saw since I joined and I know that talking about them will only push me over the edge and force me to take home a new saw. So anyways thanks in advance.

It's not all about the saws...If you didn't enjoy this kind of stuff or show the interest you wouldn't be here reading about it...It is more about just hanging out w/ people that have the same interest as you an talking about it...

hello there been lurkin for about a month and you fine people have only cost me two new stihl 361, two rolls of stihl chain and a new oregon 511ax grinder.before i found this site I was content with a husky 357xp,362xp,two 372xp and a 394xp. as you can see having friends such as you are is expensive. also a vintage lickity splitter that will never die. now did I say I am thinking I could use a 346ne or a 260 pro. I wonder if I can afford all of this knowledge???:clap::clap:

Yes, it is better to acquire these things two at a time. Far more balanced......:dizzy: :greenchainsaw:

Might as well throw my hat in the ring .....

Long time reader, very infrequent participant. Sorry, but you folks can teach me a WHOLE lot more than I can add.

Now, if you wanted to talk tire changing, I could handle that, but it's been 20 years ago ! And the last 20 have been spent driving a desk for the state.

But, I must say, this site has been EXTREMELY helpful, both in saw advice ..... and humor.

So, reporting in from Sin City .................

I see this thread is still moving right along. Looks like we've got some long time readers now posting, quite a few I might add and that a good thing.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter. I've been lurking reading all the new posters. Party is over, sadly for some I'm back. Thats right Woodie, your dream did not come true, I'm back baby and you best gets used to it, ya hear me fool, hahahaha
