OK,i have seen some fugly saws but when i got this one it won the award for me....i had them with worn paint and rust but this one is the best..
sporting electrical tape for spark plug wire wrap with no boot and the top and side covers re-painted with black hamertex paint and permanent rust on the bar...mufller mod was to empty it and drill a couple more 1/2 in holes..top of piston edge ground down on exhaust side.. previouse owner said he couldnt get it to idle,,on hi end cant get it to stop burbbling,,wonder why ?? LOL !!
even at that it starts and runs third pull and screams more than it should and surprised me the way it cut..
anyone got one more fugly than this ?? and not from wear and tear and use ,,needs to have been "customised"..

Haha fugly! Used to call a girl in school that. I havent heard that word for 20 years. Hahahahahahaha. Oh I have no pics of ugly saws either. I have all beautiful Stihls.

How about this?...The guy I got it from said it ran the last time he had it out...:dizzy:..It has a custom front handle and a scotch brite for an air filter...

one requirment,,has to run and cut !!
some pretty Fugly saw pix tho !

Is that a crappy Stihl 08 air filter sticking out of that cover??? As far as the plug wire, completely normal for small engines and tractors, but not for a chainsaw when your hand is inches away.

HEY !! that spark plug keeps you awake and attentive from time to time !! LOL !!
i dont know about the air filter, just wire mesh, seemed stock to me ??
BTW,the hamertex paint is NOT gas resistant !
dunno but i think outdoorlivin would have it so far if it ran and cut...

before, guess technicaly it doesnt count since it doesnt run in this pic

after, found another 044 that supplied a super tight top end.

Mine runs...Piston and cylinder look excellent...It only has one starter paw and you have to snap it back ever time you want to start it...The rear handle is more of a twist thottle than a trigger...

If it wasn't for threads like this I never would have tried to start that one...
