I have, or had, all those saws and a 346 is missing from your lineup. It is a small saw but professional grade. When you use it you will see what I mean. I do not intend on geting rid of mine.

I didn't think I liked small saws until I got a 346NE. Love it.

I would say a 390xp would be awesome I got to run Joats 390 at the last gtg and that thing was almost as strong as my ported 395 in medium sized wood and didnt feel like it weighed any more than my 7900. Just an awesome saw especially ported.

Fixed! But, the point is most valid, "the 390XP is a great saw and power/weight ratio is as strong as any big saw".

Steve,

Your 395 was awesome, the talk of the GTG.

Both the 390 and 395 are impressive. Would have been nice to see a 385 ported

Oh, alright Brad. I have never even seen a 385. So the weight is about the same, so mise well have the 390 for the extra ccs?

Louie,
Everybody has a 346, but deep in their souls they want a classic...something that will distinguish them from the rest of the crowd...that something is what you've wanted all along...the 242XP. Find one. Add it to your collection and congratulate yourself for being a refined thinker, and not succumbing to the alluring suggestions of the masses.

With everone telling you to get a Husky 346XP the other saw that you should consider is a Jonsered 2153.

Great design!

Cost less than the 346 Husky too!

I'm a little partial because I just bought one to go with my two 346's.
