So taking the advice of some of the senior and most knowledgeable members I bought a Ryobi and had it shipped to my bro's (aka fatguy) because he offered to help me with the muffler. I asked him to send me some pics of the saw and to feel free to muck about with it. He said no problem but still has not sent any pictures. i've decided to post some pictures of my own.

Nik, this is the tip of the embarrassing picture iceberg don't let me start pulling the big guns out. Just send some pics of the saw already jeesh

Here is a pic of Nik when he was 14. As you may well imagine he was a real hit with the ladies.

Obviously, Fonzi was an influence...

DID YOU ORDER THE ONE FOR $99 delivered ??

Nice looking garden in the background! REJ2.

Thank you REJ2, my dad is known locally for his vegetable gardens. My dad has the old world work ethic; he would never consider stoping until he hones whatever he has been working on to absolute perfection. This was 1985 and at the time Dad was still a young working man. Now that dad has retired, he spends every minute of sunlight tending to his yard.

Nope brand new off of ebay for 115 + 18 or so for shipping.

Ok,brand new,not a recon,,good deal !
i love my two, after you put a good b&c on it only gets better.

After trying out Ron's I was impressed with it. I know his has a muffler mod and maybe a little porting? not sure. but for around $100 you can't go wrong. I might have to pick one up or just convince ron to port one of my crappy homelites.
