Where to complain about the sticky threads?

Is there some place on arboristsite to complain about the sticky threads?

There's now a full dozen here, and it is starting to take up a lot of screen real estate.

I'm with ya. Most of the people interested in most of those threads will know how to find them, and are pretty good at keeping them close to the top anyhow.

Got to go the oposite direction on ya here Brad. The stickys are on every page. If you get enough stickys it will be nothing but stickys. Stickys and FAQs don't make a site.

I'm agreeing with you guys. With all the stickys, you have to scroll...and scroll...and scroll...and, you get the idea. Then you have all the banners at the top. It's painful.

No kidding....think about the guys with dial up. I'm not one of them but they have to all be bald.

Yea, I wish they would just have a thread called "stickys, FAQ's and other info" or something of that nature. Then click there and go to the sticky thread. Just take up one space.

I actually like all the sticky's there. I hate having to search for some of those threads or find them mixed in with the others. I even do alot of browsing on my IPhone at work and its not an issue.

I'm sure some of you guys with the smaller monitors or dial up its a pain. Home here I have a 22" widescreen and 27" widescreen and I can see alot of the forum w/o scrolling...."Real Estate" is GOOD

lol..."Monitor envy"? I don't mind the stickies... I have a 23" flat panel (and a high-power video card) so I can pretty much see everything in one shot.

Tell me about it! I can check this site from work while my code is compiling and such, but most things like photobucket are blocked. If I want to see a thread with pictures, out comes the iPhone!

I like the idea of having one sticky that contains all of the FAQs or tech stuff that's currently at the top. Makes things quick and easy to find, and also frees up a lot of space. Most of the sites that I visit are set up with a FAQ or TECH section like this. This site has too much trafic to have that many sticky threads at the top. I'm not going to complain too much though, cause this is a great site either way.

The stickies should be placed inside a user definable collapsible or expandable subforum so the user can decide if they want to see them or not.

I e-mailed the admins months ago to condense or move the stickies and never heard back. I guess they don't care?
