What ever XP you get, Do not get the E-Tech version, it has a cat muffler.
how about just G ?
Lol, my 361 will do to your 357, what your 346 will do to my 260.
OP: If you're deciding between those two, 361 is a no brainer. From a guy who owns a 361 and has also ran a 357 quite a bit.
If you are looking for an all around saw, and the difference in price is only $70 I would choose the 357xp. I no longer have one, because I opted for the 346/372 combo after using the 357 in a bunch of maple in the 30+ inch range. The 357 is heavier for sure, but it handles great and has that snappy throttle response that everyone loves in the 346. In larger wood, or when noodling the 357 is still noticeably stronger than the 346. Decisions, decisions . Pretty sure you can't go wrong with the saws you are considering. Just get enough saw!

the closest to 60 pro is 357 (56,5cc);
lower ranked are 460 and 359.
not sure wich is the link; or it is just the lack of 60 cc pro ?

c`mon guys, reading the boards only confuses me.
I was sure on Stihl....but.....please give me all the info
Why is this a big deal? Cant it be modded? My echo had a cat in the muffler to it took 5 mins to drill out.
If speed is what you want buy a husky.
Get a Stihl if you want a saw that will last and last
and even one day pass it on to your kids. If you ever
one day need to get parts a Stihl dealer is just down the road.
