Well got tired of overworking my half ton so decieded it was time to upgrade. Looked for a newer one ton only to find that they must all be covered it gold or something. 8 grand on a ten year old diesel, hmm I don't think so. So I thought long and hard and settled on something way cheaper that will outlast, haul, pull, ect most anything. Well here it is!

Now I would love to have one of these puppies! How hard is it to get a title and tag on one of these?

My buddy had one with an anderson loader on it and it was awesome!! I shoulda bought it when he offered it i thought he wanted to much for it but he sold it in a day and I'm left holding the bag.....

Yowzaa!

So....cheaper then that gold plated one ton huh?

And with a trailer too!

I think I need one of those.

:hmm3grin2orange:

Do you get those at local Mil surplus places? Or are they found at Mil auction?

I don't have a use for one but my FIL could really use something like that with the 100's of saw-logs hes got laying around his farm.

Is that full-time AWD? or is the drive solely on the rear tandem axles? It's a pintle-trailer, right? Does the trailer have brakes? Not that you'd really need them with the hauler you've got.

Don't know much about deuce-and-a-halfs but I've heard you can run almost anything in their engines - diesel, kerosene, jet-A, peanut oil...

Nice ride, man.

Way cool!

--what, two three cords at one whack! yes!

This is exactly what I have been looking for for my next truck, some heavy duty military truck. Past three weeks been window shopping online, and realize though with my budget I'll have to start with the cheaper pickup sized gasser model army trucks, then work myself on up to the diesels then on to a deuce and a half or a five tonner. Just ain't got the scratch although I see deals out there.

I called and made a cash and swap offer for a m880 today, this afternoon, guy said he would think on it and call him back. Here's hopin'.

My lil datsun 1/2 ton 2wd just don't cut it off road. Trip to town it's great, you can't beat 40mpg with a truck, but I need something a bit more stout and 4wd for use on the farm when the tractor isn't available. I've got an old ford dump truck to use, but it sucks offroad as well, does me no good at all, it sits mostly because of that. Think I used it twice last year total.

If I was not unemployed I would grab this International in a heartbeat. 4 wheel drive with a boom to boot and only $3000.

Nice! You'll have to make a lot less trips with that setup. Good score
