Well, I gave up my tree business when I finally got hired by the railroad. (CN)
I've been working out of town for almost 6 months straight with very little time at home so no time to mill up any wood.
Finally got a chance to change that today.
Well, actually started Friday after work and piddled some Saturday setting stuff up but did the actual milling today.
Milled up a 6' long red oak log that was about 22" diameter. Cut 2 slabs 2.25" thick and the rest at 2" thick.
Oh, finally have a place to store a little bit of the wood I cut too.
I've got plenty more to do and actually have a little time in the next few weeks to do it! More to come!
