Peter that would be tecumseh with an "S"? You would probably be best to source a carby kit by it's type/manufacture.

Bit of info for you mate.

Pete, the only knowledge I have was gained by looking up the info you provided. I tend to think the powerhead was used to power different brand saws. Firstly it sounds like it could be an AH81 instead of the H81. Also I tend think it's along the lines of a Ward(S)/Mono. I'm only guessing all this but they are leads I'd follow. Do Googles on AH81, Ward, Wards, Mono, Tecumseh etc. Send private messages to those that look to run plenty of vintage saws.

Bout all I can help you with mate and all the best with it and let us know how you go.

I have'nt used tapatalk Rick but just typed this without it without any troubles.

Would also depend on the phone and this being the IPhone.

Thanks Al.

Received a new Galaxy SII a few weeks back and still learning to drive it properly.

I can view forum posts OK, juts haven't tried posting yet.

I'm taking the laptop with me too, hopefully there's wi-fi were I'm going.

Pete, I'd try asking on the Chainsaw Collectors Forum.

I don't think I'm allowed to post a direct link, but try something like www. chainsawcollectors.se/phpbb3/index.php without the spacing ;)

Good bunch of blokes and you'll probably recognise a few reprobates like RandyMac and McBob from here

hey Rick, it will all still be there when you get back ;)...have a great tip/training. Let me know if you are in the neigbour hood or south of

Will do mate.

Vickie wants to visit a couple of friends when she comes up in the hinterland if we have time, so I'll be almost going past.

Tip the phone on it's side and it makes it easy to type with both hands (thumbs) and page viewing. You can expand the page your viewing by "spreading" the page with your fingers/thumbs.

You can use your phone as a modem also which is what I do at home to use up the 2 gigs supplied with the phone plan.
