NOS never gassed Poulan 655BP........ My Holy Grail

Some of you known that I've had this saw for awhile now. When I got it, it wasn't 100% complete. It took me over 2 years to locate the NOS stuff I needed to complete it. Believe it of not, the last thing was the bar. Thanks to the member I got it from and a couple members that had NOS pieces I needed. It was well worth the wait. Everybody has their opinion on Holy Grail saws..... this is mine. Never gassed, 100% NOS.

No, it came from a former Pioneer dealer saw shop. Possibly it was ordered like I received it.

What a saw Ed, What a saw. That thing is absolutly a
Holy Grail in my book. Out standing. I have a few NOS
saws myself and they are sweet to have but you always
want to gas em and run em.
Great job find the missing pieces. I'd of reped ya but out
of bullets.

Ed I see (on the MN/SN tag pic) that your saw is a "Poulan Pro 655EX". Did you see Lee's thread where he just got a P-61EX? Folks are trying to figure out what the "EX" signifies on Lee's saw. Lee also feels this P-61EX is stronger than other 99cc P-60/PP655 series saws that he's ran. Do you have any insight here?

Here it is next to my other 655BP. The 655BP with the K&N I use for cutting. I did some mild port work to it and just installed an NOS BP top end on it.

Aaron, Lee and I talked on the phone last night. While talking, I discovered both of my 655's have the EX. I'm not sure what it means.
