I'd run it. Maybe not a lot, but I would for sure try it out.

I'd run it too. It's not worth having if you're not gonna run it. Heck....it's a chainsaw. I'll admit I'd be extra careful with it. One of the most compelling reasons to own one of these saws is that they cut so good, even compared to modern saws.

I'll 2nd that Festus...that 394 in your sig might have it's work cut out keeping up with one that was tuned and set up properly. The torque out of those saws is ridiculous. The lil brother 455 with a 20-24" ain't no joke either.

I have always liked them saws. Never ran but it's on my bucket list. Great looking saw!
