Torque is actually meaningless. Don't believe me? Weld a 3" bolt to a 1" thick plate of steel, get a 20 foot breaker bar and put it on the nut, and dangle off the end of the bar. If you weight 150 pounds, that's 150 x 20 = 3000 foot pounds of torque. Come back and tell me how that 3000 foot pounds works out for you. :msp_biggrin:

In your miscalculated above equation HP would be 0. Torque would be more than 3000'#'s because you didn't factor in breaker bar weight.

I'm not going to argue with you because you have repeatedly demonstrated how little knowledge you actually have of engine dynamics. All HP numbers are a calculation and torque is measured.

Why don't you go back to Home Depot garden mart and see if you can do some good there, sure would be better than what you do around here.......

that depends on who does the port work

I could not agree more. For the guys I have seen porting saws on this forum they get more rpm and more torque out the saws they build. Saw building is the whole package not just grinding some port open alittle more. There is carb work, timing, exhaust, compression, and of course port work. I think they will cut hard wood faster.

 Not to mention the undetermined flex of said bar, what grade the bolt was, how it was welded, and WTF the 1" steel plate was attached too :dizzy:

Am I the only one that thinks Rexxi should have stayed the course and became a lawyer?

the little saw that could ..........

now how much wood could a 440 cut if a 440 had an aftermaket 460 top end and could cut wood

that didnt work did it ?
