I really don't need a saw this size often, but know a guy that got two of them from a older man that was moving away. It's looks almost brand new, and I can get it for $250 should I buy it lol dang you guys have ruined me lol.

Why would you even ask this question??????

After you run it, you will understand the above.

Unless it is broken, buy it. If it runs good you will really like it. If it is a 10 mm, you will absolutely love it. In my opinion, the Stihl 044/MS 440 and the Husky 372 are the standard against which all serious professional chain saws are judged.

One just sold for $500 on this site the other day.

Thats just how I got it $250 hard case two new chains dulled, but never sharpened. I felt of the head it was ice cold, it hit on the first pull, fliped the choke off and boom. I think I got a good deal. 25in bar.

I would live to have that one there with a 3/4 wrap on it.

Pull the top cover. Are the fins straight across or angled? Regardless of whether its a 10 or 12mm you did very fine.

very nice looking saw ive been looking for an 044 for a while and i still cant find the right deal im very jealous of you:chop:
