I hate to see where this thread is headed based on NO PROOF. Hell just because Bryce is based in Marysville does not mean it was his business. Just because the police are investigating a UNKNOWN person in no way makes them guilty. It looks like the typical AS lynch mob is gearing up for NO REASON at this point. Slow down and let the issues work themselves out.

Bill

That creep took payment for parts from me a few years ago, and never shipped a thing.
A few weeks ago, he shipped my parts to me without being paid up front. I couldn't afford everything that I wanted all at once. I wanted to order what I could afford & set the rest aside for a few days until I had the money. Instead, he sent it ALL out without ANY prepayment, combined shipping, discount on parts, & all! I promptly paid in full...I'm not gonna screw up a deal like that!

If they haven't been doing things by the book, I hope they are able to deal with the consequences & resume business with a sharper eye for dotted i's & crossed t's.

I hope they haven't been knowingly receiving stolen property, that would paint a much uglier picture. I'm really hoping that's not the case.

If I lived as close as you he would have got a visit.

Wow ... I just got a message from him on an inquiry yesterday.
I've bought things from him over the years, I remember when he first started out as just some guy selling parts from saws he picked up from dealers and scrapping ... back then he was "cheapsthilparts" but stihl complained that he was using their name and ebay made him change.

I don't know the guy, other than some emails I've had and parts bought from him were always on the money and fairly priced ... but I do know that when he started getting bigger than he could handle himself (a few years ago) ... he started falling behind on customer service ... I mean it was just too much for one person ... and he hired a bunch of people to help out, eventually turning it into the big empire he has now.

It's possible he's a crook ... it's also possible some of the people he has working there are the crooks and he has nothing to do with it.

Wow ... still can't believe I'm reading this.

EDIT: Now that I've read the entire article in full ... it's pretty clear the dude isn't doing anything wrong per se, it's obviously like any other business that buys stuff from people that walk in the door ... like a pawn shop of sorts, but not exactly the same, but the same kind of attraction to low lives looking for crack money or whatever.

This was a big issue in NYC a few years back ... I worked with a friend of mine in his ebay drop off store ... we had the NYPD in there on several occasions looking at stuff, asking for our records ... etc.

The city tried to get such stores under the pawnshop regulations but failed to do so... but they did manage to get regs that said we had to ID our customers with drivers license etc, and keep the info on hand in case of items being reported stolen.

I suspect that this guy in the article will wind up having to do the same ... 166k a year, tons of merchandise in stock, and they found what? 5 things reported stolen? and he's being fully cooperative with the police ...

I cannot believe you and most others are jumping to conclusions????????????????????????

Has anyone shown ANY EVIDENCE that it is Bryce and ANY EVIDENCE anyone did anything wrong?

The AS lynch mob is getting going

I posted the edit marker ... Sherlock Holmes
Secondly ... show me anything in my post you just underlined for special effect ... where I've jumped to any conclusions.
You sound hysterical
I said "it's possible" ... and anything is possible, I also said he was always square with me and I offered a much more logical suggestion to the problem than him being a crook.
And then I had the honesty to mark my edit so everyone could see my original post from the second part.

No need for me to Google anything. You made a assumption that the person you dealt with was the SAME person mention in the newspaper article. That was a assumption that was made by jumping to conclusions PERIOD

:wtf: :dizzy:
It was his account he sent the message from ... Dumb Ass ... and he signed it "Bryce"
It just so happens that I'm leaning towards thinking he did nothing wrong ... except maybe as the article states, he might not have had a tight leash on his paperwork when people brought him stuff.
I've known this guy through ebay for over 12 years and bought a few things from him.
And no ... I'm not going to make a screenshot for you.

NURSE!! Bill is out of his room again! ... and he's using the computer in the office!

What does this post by you prove? I will say nothing. I will ask did you read post #25 before posting then realizing you jumped to conclusions and editing? I will bet you will come back with some sort of a half herted insult. ,,sobeit. In the end you have shown yourself to fail to read and think before posting. That appears to be the norm around here lately. If you have failed to see it

No where has any evidence ever been shown that the suspect in the newspaper article was Bryce. No names were mentioned unless you are seeing something that all else reading cannot see

Take your meds and get some sleep ... mental case.
Don't worry about the tinfoil hat tonight, Alex Jones says the government mind control waves are off until next week.
