What should I do?

Is it just me or does it seem like every newbie on the forum lately has a fleet of saws including a 660 or 2100 or similarity impressive saw and hand split 100 cords per year? This is getting a little old hearing all of the fish stories (no pun intended to USMC). Not sure if its one wannabe or several doing this but it's getting a little old.
I have no impressive saws. Just a 60T splitter.

OK, a couple impressive saws too.. No Stihls tho. They dont impress me. A 35 year old McC will tho.

There's cool, then there's COOL.

Quite the soap opera.:popcorn2:

If your weather comes from the west, you can expect some sun, wind, clouds, rain, sleet, hail, snow etc. In other words, it is springtime. The ski hill got 14 inches of new snow a little bit too late. Now, will it be a dry summer where we must be very careful or a wet one where we will curse the mildew and fight off the slugs? Summer starts in the middle of July.

Stay tuned. Or not.

Oh, and I'm thinking about cutting some firewood. It is not something I like to do anymore. I have some doug fir available and need DF for the winter after next. I just hate to have to wiggle my little pickup on old skid roads to get to it.

Don't move here.

That's OK, your avatar gets you into the cool crowd.

60t splitter?

Next question?

I stopped at the bowlin' alley Friday night for a glass of beer and kick some dirt clods with my BIL.
There were three half-drunk woman sittin' at the bar complainin' how the welfare check and food stamps weren't quite cuttin' it anymore. One of 'em said she'd moved here from Chicago two years ago for the better benifits, but now she'd haf'ta start checkin' for a better deal elsewhere. Between the three of 'em I counted 7 snot-nosed brats runnin' around throwin' quarters in the slot games and such.

I told them to check Washington... they said they'd do that. One of 'em got out her $1000.00 smart phone, did some finger work and said that didn't look too bad.

I bought them a "goin' away" round... it was the least I could do.
